CUTLER BAY, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have arrested a man after an argument left another man hospitalized with a bullet wound.

At around 3:20 Tuesday afternoon, a heavy police presence on U.S. 1 and Southwest 204th Street, in the parking lot of the Southland Mall, caused concern to many customers.

According to police, a business owner and a customer were involved in an argument at a repair shop off Southwest 224th Street and U.S. 1 in the Gould area of Southwest Miami-Dade, not long before. Somehow that victim of the shooting ended up in the Southland Mall parking lot. Mall officials have not commented.

Police identified the victim as the repair shop's owner, a 28-year-old male. He was grazed by a bullet in the neck, and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue airlifted him to Kendall Regional Hospital. He is expected to be OK.

Not long after the victim was airlifted, a white car showed up at the Cutler Ridge Police Department substation near the mall with bullet holes in the rear passenger door. Police put crime scene tape on the car door and wrapped it around the vehicle. Police did speak to the driver on scene and eventually made an arrest.
