2 injured in car crash

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Two people are in the hospital Wednesday, suffering from injuries they received in a car accident.

Police said the two cars collided near 138th Street and Biscayne Boulevard during the morning rush. One of the vehicles overturned. The collision also caused a transit bus to stop short.

Air Rescue transported one person to the hospital, while another one was transported by ground.

Traffic was backed up for miles as police investigated the scene and crews worked to clean up the mess.
