Man dies after dispute outside market

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a 23-year-old man during an argument.

Witnesses said two men were arguing over money Monday night, outside of the 15th Street Mart at Northwest 15th Street and Fifth Avenue. That is when, witnesses said, one of the men pulled out a gun and opened fire.

"They said, one person owed the other the person the money and wouldn't give it to him, and he shot him and killed him," said an unidentified witness.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are actively searching for the shooter.
