MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are looking for the subjects responsible for vandalizing several AC units at an after school program in Miami Gardens over the weekend.
Employees at Rolling Oaks Park, located at Northwest 17th Avenue and 187th Street, discovered four busted air conditioning units. Officials said the thieves swiped the copper from them.
These robbery cases involving AC units have been increasingly popular at schools, churches and other businesses with large units. The thieves then sell the copper for a profit.
