Major detour for drivers

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A major detour for South Florida drivers.

Several North and Southbound lanes will close on the Palmetto, in and around the 826 and 836 interchange starting Tuesday at 11 p.m.

These construction closures will be going on throughout the week.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area.

Lanes will reopen at 5 a.m.
