Man charged in shooting spree

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A man accused of going on a shooting spree at officers, faced a judge Thursday.

Twenty-three-year-old Andy Roman is charged with attempted murder.

Roman is accused of firing at police with an AK-47 while the officers were investigating a shooting at a motel on Okeechobee Road in Hialeah last Saturday.

His accomplice was arrested a day later.
