Volunteer efforts called off in search for UF student

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Authorities have called off the volunteer search for a missing University of Florida student.

Hundreds of volunteers have helped search the Gainesville area for 18-year-old Christian Aguilar.

Officials said only Gainesville Police, along with professional search teams, will continue to look for Aguilar's body.

Pedro Bravo is being held at the Alachua County Jail. He has been charged with Aguilar's murder.

Bravo has refused to help police in the search for his one-time friend.
