FORT LAUDERDALE HOLLYWOOD INT'L AIRPORT (WSVN) -- A former Opa-Locka Police Officer is accused of impersonating police.

Daniel Kelly was released Thursday on $1,000 bond. Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said Kelly told a Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Int'l Airport customs officer he was a cop and even flashed a badge.

Customs officials contacted Opa-Locka Police Department, who informed them that Kelly had been relieved of duty pending the outcome of a criminal investigation.
