Flipped tractor trailer stalls traffic on US 27

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A tractor trailer that flipped over on U.S. 27 caused some major traffic delays Friday morning.

The accident happened just before 7 a.m. in the southbound lanes of U.S. 27, just north of Interstate 75, near Weston.

The accident blocked all southbound lanes of U.S. 27 for hours during the morning commute.

Police said the tractor trailer was carrying pallets.

All lanes have since reopened.
