Surveillance released in Quiznos robbery

SUNRISE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for the man who held a restaurant employee at gunpoint.

The robbery occurred at a Quiznos along Northwest 139th Street and West Sunrise Boulevard, last week.

The man was seen on surveillance video walking into the sub shop with a shotgun and going straight for the register.

Police said the suspect was unable to open the register, so he pointed the gun at the employee and demanded money.

It is unknown how much money he took off with.
