Officials prepared for holiday weekend

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Officials will be out in full force this Columbus Day weekend.

The U.S. Coast Guard and police will be keeping and eye out for drunk boaters and other dangers this weekend.

Officials will conduct random safety checks.

Intoxicated boaters can face up to one year behind bars.
