Print1 tenant displaced in apartment fire

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A tenant has been displaced after a fire broke out at a South Florida apartment.
The blaze broke out just after 7 p.m., Sunday, at an apartment complex on Northwest 71st Street and 17th Avenue. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived on scene with initial reports that a child was trapped inside. However, after a thorough search, officials determined this was not the case.
Crews extinguished the blaze and no injuries were reported.
A lower unit suffered smoke and water damage, displacing one tenant.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
