Driver crashes into home after being shot at

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are looking for the gunmen who opened fire on a driver in a South Florida neighborhood.

The shooting happened at about 1:22 a.m. Tuesday, near Northeast 35th Street and First Avenue. Deputies said several people standing outside their vehicle fired shots at a passing car. The driver lost control and crashed his vehicle into a decorative wall outside the home.

The driver and passenger were not hit but were left a bit banged up from the crash. The bullets also hit a nearby church.

Investigators said the shooters took off in another car, which was later located in Lauderhill by police. The shooters remain at large.
