Man accused of molesting elderly woman arrested

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A man accused of an alarming attack against an elderly woman is behind bars.

Miguel Chavez faces a list of charges, including sexual battery and burglary.

Police said Chavez broke into an elderly woman's home along Coral Way and 12th Avenue last month.

The victim told police she woke up when Chavez climbed on top of her, molested and choked her.
