Truck donated to Habitat for Humanity

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida furniture store has donated a truck to help Habitat For Humanity.

The Habitat for Humanity Re-Store in Fort Lauderdale received a free delivery truck from City Furniture on Tuesday.

The vehicle was donated to help the store pick up items being donated on a daily basis. "We're incredibly grateful to City Furniture for all they've done for us over the past 12 years," said Habitat ReStore's Nancy Daly. "They not only encourage their customers to donate to us, but now have provided us with a truck."

City Furniture said it will continue to encourage customers to donate to Habitat to help the organization continue and serve the community.
