Officials investigate police-involved accident

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Authorities are investigating a police-involved accident hat tied up the Wednesday morning commute.

The crash happened at about 6 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Commercial Boulevard. Skyforce HD hovered over the scene, where Fort Lauderdale police cruiser collided with a civilian's car.

Florida Highway Patrol shut down three right lanes as officials conducted their investigation.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
