Son of reality star bonds out of jail

MIAMI (WSVN) -- The son of a reality show star is out of jail on $5,000 bond, just hours after he turned himself over to police.
Peter Rosello, 20, son of "Real Housewives of Miami" star, Alexia Echevarria, bonded out of jail Wednesday evening after turning himself in to face charges on felony battery. Echevarria greeted her son with a hug as he walked out of the Miami-Dade County jail.
Police said Rosello posted a video on the Internet showing him punching a homeless man in the groin while he was lying down on Miami Beach. Rosello's attorney said the video may not tell the real story. "Well, I have defended cases before where there is video and sometimes things are not what they seem to be," said attorney Richard Sharpstein.
However, police said Rosello's actions depicted on video were enough to face serious charges. "What's depicted on that video, is arrestable. There's probable cause for an arrest," said Miami Beach Police Sergeant Bobby Hernandez. "It appears that he was battered for no reason. He's a homeless individual, which enhances the crime. It goes from a first degree misdemeanor to a third degree felony."
The alleged victim, Gary Lee Brown had some choice words for Rosello when 7News interviewed him after the incident. "I'd kill him if I had a gun," he said. "If I knew who he was but I don't read."
Sixty-two-year-old Brown has lived on Miami Beach for 20 years.
Meanwhile, Rosello and his family have not commented publicly on this case. "His mother is very upset. As you know, she's had a very, very difficult year, and this is just another factor, and they're extremely upset and very emotional," said Sharpstein, on the family's behalf.
Sharpstein said his client will enter a plea of not guilty.
