Obama, Ann Romney campaign in So. Fla.

MIAMI (WSVN) -- The race for the white house winding through South Florida yet again.
The president is due in the area Thursday afternoon. Challenger Mitt Romney's Wife Ann will also by in town. She is expected to visit a local children's hospital during her visit.
The candidates are giving our battleground state plenty of attention with less than four weeks until election day.
The president is scheduled to land in Air Force One at Miami International Airport at 2:35 p.m. From there, the president heads to the University of Miami. He will be speaking to a crowd at the Bank United Center about plans for improving the economy as well as job creation.
Later in the evening, he will make an appearance at a fundraiser at the JW Marriott Marquis in Downtown Miami.
Expect major road closures along US 1 and Brickell Avenue, as well as on roads in and around Bayfront Park and the Miami River in the afternoon and during the height of the evening rush.
Metrorail and metromover service will also be impacted. Details on traffic issues to expect are linked above.
Also visiting the area today, Mitt Romney's wife, Ann Romney. In addition to campaigning for her husband, she is scheduled to visit Chris Evert Children's Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.
