Polo mogul goes before judge

PALM BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A polo mogul convicted of killing a man while driving under the influence faced a judge Friday morning.
Deputies took John Goodman to the Palm Beach County jail Wednesday after, they said, he tried to break off his ankle monitor with a hand-held mirror.
Goodman is appealing his 16-year sentence for the death of 23-year-old Scott Wilson, who died in a crash back in 2010.
Goodman was allegedly driving drunk when the young man's car went into a Wellington canal after it was hit by Goodman's Bentley, officials said.
