Mother, baby found safe after Amber Alert

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A mother and her 1-year-old baby boy were found safe after an Amber Alert was issued.
Officials searched the North Miami Beach home of Jameeka McIntyre, her boyfriend Roderico Morrison and 1-year-old James Ricardo Morrison after they received a tip that McIntyre was being held hostage.
After police discovered no one was inside the home, an Amber Alert was issued just after 3 p.m. Friday. "We have no idea where the child is, where the car is or where the two adults are," said North Miami Beach Police Tom Carney.
Florida Highway Police spotted Morrison's vehicle in West Palm Beach. All three were found safe.
25-year-old McIntyre was interviewed by police, while Morrison was taken by investigators.
Police says Morrison has a history of abusing this girlfriend. "He's actually spent time in jail in Broward County for it, so there is a relationship of domestic violence," said Carney.
The child is in his grandmother’s custody until police conclude their investigation.
Police said Morrison will be charged.
