Hit-and-run driver turns himself in

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) -- A man suspected in a deadly hit-and-run has surrendered to police.

Albert Verdi, 49, turned himself in to police Friday after charges of leaving the scene of an accident.

Verdi is accused of striking and killing bicyclist Willmar Galeano on the Sheridan Street drawbridge in Hollywood last year.
