Family displaced after house fire

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida family is left without a home after it caught fire Sunday.

Flames shattered the windows and charred the roof of the home along Northwest 196th Street and 43rd Court at about 4:20 p.m., Sunday. Everyone inside the home, including several children, were able to escape unharmed.

The Red Cross is now assisting the family.
