1 dead, 1 critical after shootout

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police said one man died and another was left severely wounded after a shooting in a South Florida neighborhood.

Police learned two men shot at each other after getting into an argument outside one of their homes, along Northeast 147th Street and 10th Court, early Monday morning.

One of them stumbled off before dying just a few blocks away. A panicked neighbor woke up Monday morning to discover the body. "Makes me feel scared. I don't think I really like this neighborhood anymore after all the gunshots happening around here, but there's nothing I can do about it," said Marielena Avariano.

The other man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
