Man steals $10,000 from woman in lotto scam

MIAMI (WSVN) -- An alleged lotto scam has left one South Florida resident ripped off.

Surveillance images captured the man police said robbed a woman then took off.

The man allegedly convinced her to withdraw $10,000 from her account, claiming he could npt claim his winnings because he was not a U.S. citizen.

It happened along Southwest 88th Street and 147th Avenue in Miami.
