BSO investigating discovery of body

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Authorities are working to identify the body of a man who was found dead.

A Broward Sheriff's Office deputy found the body of an adult man who washed ashore. The deputy found the body while patrolling the beach on an ATV, shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday, near Southeast 21st Avenue and 17th Street.

The man's identity is not yet known and homicide detectives are investigating.
