Boat catches fire in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to flames on the water.

A boat somehow lit ablaze near 420 SW 7th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.

Witnesses said the boat was traveling down the marina on fire, making it difficult for fire crews to get to.

Officials fought the blaze from above once it came to a stop.

The flames were quickly put out, the boat was left charred black. No one was hurt.
