Girl Power Organization robbed

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A Miami organization for girls was hit by a thief.

The thieves stole the air condition unit and the power lines from the Girl Power Organization headquarters, located at 6015 NW 7 Ave., in Miami.

Girl Power, a non-profit program, offering after-school programs for at-risk youth has been without power and air condition for the past three days.

"It has definitely been a hardship," said Director Kerry Bruce. "I don't know who would do something like this, but it is very heartbreaking to see that we're here in the community, doing something great for young girls and someone would do this, and now we can't have our programs."
