2 arrested in real estate scheme

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police have arrested two women after running a real estate Ponzi scheme.

Marisela Gamez and Odalis Freixa are accused of bilking investors out of over a million dollars over the past seven years.

Investigators said the siblings promised to help unsuspecting victims with foreclosures and loan modifications in South Florida.
