MIAMI (WSVN) -- Two people required transportation to an area hospital after a fire rescue truck collided with a car.

The collision happened just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Southwest 12th Street and 12th Court. Investigators said a rescue unit was transporting a patient when it collided with a red Honda.

Rescue crews checked out the driver, who complained of neck pains, while also tending to their own patient. The patient was transported to a local hospital while the driver was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Police are still investigating who was at fault.
