POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A hotel clerk who was attacked by two aggressive crooks during a holdup is re-living her nightmare to 7News.

Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for help, as they want to track down the two men who robbed then attacked Joan Harnagel, who was working at the Executive Economy Lodge.

Security cameras caught the crime from three different angles. The first shows the men walking into the hotel on South Federal Highway. They forced the clerk behind the counter at gunpoint then made her empty the register.

She handed over the cash. They even make her dump the change into a plastic bag, but it wasn't over yet. A third angle shows one man step behind the counter again and spray the woman in the face with what she says was some kind of cologne or deodorant. "I tell you what, I thought my blood had drained and gone to the floor," Harnagel said. "I just felt like my legs were like glue."

The crime happened last Monday, on Oct. 15. Harnagel offered a direct message to the criminals: "I hope they catch you, they prosecute you and you rot in hell and in prison."

If you recognize either man you are asked to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
