Surfer gets close to shark in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida surfer has quite the shark tale after he caught more than just waves in the ocean Sunday.

Jen Brittingham sent a snap shot of a small shark that swam right beside him while he surfed on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

The little guy riding the wave all the way to shore.

The surfer then grabbed it and took a quick picture before throwing it back in the water.
