S. Fla. firefighters donate supplies to Sandy victims

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A group of South Florida firefighters are shipping off supplies for Hurricane Sandy relief.
The firefighters organized a drive to deliver goods and supplies to affected New Yorkers.
The former New York residents donated a semi-truck full of supplies.
Part of the group drove the goods from Deerfield Beach to Staten Island and Queens.
"People have been great down in South Florida donating," said Michael Tumminello. "It's unbelievable. This was all done in 24 hours. It's amazing that everybody pulled together."
The men loaded up the truck with items like clothing, generators, water and baby supplies.
