Construction worker hospitalized

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A construction worker had to be rushed to the hospital Monday morning.

Officials said the man was injured on the eighth floor, possibly after something fell on him. It happened at the Four Points Sheridan Hotel along Northeast 12th Street and North Ocean Boulevard.

Fire rescue crews used the bucket on their truck to rescue him and bring him down safely.

He was taken to the hospital.
