Police: Man accused of stabbing girlfriend

LAUDERHILL, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for a man accused of stabbing his girlfriend 21 times.

Raphael Brown is wanted for attempted first-degree murder. Lauderhill Police said 47-year-old Brown stabbed his girlfriend on Tuesday at 4 a.m. at their home along Northwest 56th Avenue, when she tried to break up with him.

Rescue crews rushed the injured woman to the hospital where she is recovering.

The victim's daughter is now demanding justice. "'My life is over,' That's what he was saying, 'My life is over,'" said Dae Bromfield. "You tried to take my mom from me. You're talking about your life. What about her life? You need to turn yourself in."
