Police searching for missing man

MARGATE, Fla. (WSVN) -- The Margate Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing person who they said could be in danger.

Emil Vanderhoeght was reported missing by the staff of the Embassy Retirement Home, located at Northwest Ninth Street and U.S. 441. He was last seen Tuesday at around 9 p.m. standing in front of the retirement home.

The 56-year-old was last seen wearing a long sleeve plaid shirt and a green undershirt.
