Dog safe after falling into septic tank

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A dog was lifted to safety after it fell into a septic tank.

Thursday, crews dressed in protective suits to reach the dirty dog that was sitting in feces six-feet below.

The pooch, named Shelly, fell into the tank after it was left open in the front yard. Shelly escaped without any injuries.
