Police search for purse snatcher

PLANTATION, Fla. (WSVN) -- Officials are looking for a man who robbed a woman of her purse, Thursday.

Police said a woman was getting her mail in the Polynesian Gardens neighborhood of Plantation when she was approached by a white male, who ripped her purse from her shoulder, then ran away.

Authorities said the subject looked to be about 30 years old.
