Officials work to transform Opa-Locka

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. (WSVN) -- City officials are making changes to revitalize one South Florida neighborhood.

Crews removed metal barricades as a part of a revitalization plan in an area known for drugs and crime.

City officials said the plan includes new affordable housing and say the development will transform Opa-Locka.
