Police search for pawn shop robbers

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Deputies are searching for a pair of armed crooks who robbed a South Florida pawn shop.

Surveillance video caught the pair storming into a pawn shop located on Northeast 31st Court and North Dixie Highway on Oct. 27. "All of sudden a man comes in and he has an automatic riffle," said Broward Sheriff's Office Dani Moschella.

One armed man with an assault riffle ordered customers and employees to the ground. Investigators say the other man then maced at least three customers. "He orders everyone to the ground including a visibly pregnant woman, forces her to the ground on her belly," said Moschella.

The men got away with cash, a gold chain and some of the customers belongings.

No one was injured.
