Local woman celebrates 107th birthday

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- One loyal customer celebrated her birthday by getting a salon surprise.

A woman received a surprise party for her 107th birthday at her favorite salon.

She is a longtime customer of the Robar Salon in Hallandale Beach. In fact, she's been going there for 30 years.

The employees surprised her with champagne and a birthday cake. "I am just so surprised," said Aida, "and so thankful. They are so darling. It really shocked me that they did something like this."

"She's a very loyal customer," said store manager Vitalie. "She's a wonderful lady. I mean for 107 years old, and she's still coming to our salon."

Talk about commitment! Not only has Aida been attending the same salon for the past three decades, she has also been using the same hairstylist.
