POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A day out on the boat turned into a sinking situation.

All six men aboard that boat made it back to shore in Pompano Beach after it started to sink over the weekend.

The 25-foot Bayliner slowly filled with water when huge waves suddenly flipped it over and threw all the boaters into the water. "Well," said Igor Batista, "what happened was we went out there, the boat filled up with water, and the thing just flipped and rough seas. We came back, and as soon as the boat flipped, Sea Tow and tow boats got us and Officer Dundy came and helped us, and we're back safe, thank God."

Luckily, Sea Tow picked them up and transferred them to a BSO boat. "It's pretty rough. Sea Tow did a pretty good job of saving us and everything is cool."

No one was injured.
