Activists groups voting for change

MIAMI (WSVN) -- In the wake of Florida's election debacle, several activist groups are voting for change.

A coalition of voter protection groups, including the League of Women Voters, the NAACP and AARP, are calling on Governor Scott and lawmakers to appoint a task force to review, and hopefully fix, all of the state's election problems.

They said long lines at polling places as well as a reduction in early voting days were just some of the issues.

A similar task force was created after election problems arose in the 2000 election.
