Broward commissioners forced to leave office

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- For the first time, two Broward County Commissioners are being forced to leave office under the county's new term limit guidelines.

John Rodstrom, who also serves as the county's mayor, gave his final State of the County address Tuesday.

Commissioner Ilene Lieberman also left due to the term limit rule.

The commission will fill both positions on Nov. 20.
