Police searching for convenience store crook

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A thief was caught on camera as he robbed a connivence store.

The thief asked a cashier for cigarettes, and when she turned around to get them, he pointed a gun at her and demanded cash. The employee, fearing for her life, handed it over.

The robbery happened on Oct. 7 at around 9:30 p.m., at the 7-Eleven along Ninth Avenue and Northeast 62nd Street in Fort Lauderdale.
