DORAL, Fla. (WSVN) -- Officials have released new details in the abusive marriage of the mother who was found murdered along with her two daughters.

Alberto Sierra was seen in bond court video from a previous 2011 arrest. Sierra was questioned by Miami-Dade Police about the murder of 29-year-old Gladys Machado and her two daughters but was released on Thursday.

Sierra is the estranged husband of Machado. Machado and her two daughters, 4 and 8, were all found dead Tuesday afternoon inside a closet inside their home.

Machado and Sierra have had a turbulent past. According to an injunction for protection filed by Machado: "On Oct. 4, 2010, the parties were having an argument. The petitioner (Machado) threatened to call police. The respondent (Sierra) bit her on the arm and slammed her against the closet wall."

The report also said Sierra took Machado's gun and said: "If you want this gun back, you'll have to shoot me for it."

Machado later dismissed the protective order.

Machado worked at a Beauty Schools of America as a cashier. Friends were saddened about the news of her and her children's murders. "Its bad enough that they killed her, but on top of it they killed the kids? These kids have nothing to do with anything," said a co-worker.

Police have not charged Sierra or anyone in this case. They are still investigating several leads.

If you have any information on these murders, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
