MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Florida teen is behind bars for impersonating a physician.
Eighteen-year-old Matthew Scheidt was sentenced Thursday to a year in jail as well as house arrest and probation.
Prosecutors said Scheidt used a fake badge to work in a Central Florida hospital emergency room for weeks, changing bandages, handling IVs and helping conduct exams.
Scheidt was also arrested on Miami Beach for impersonation of a police officer back in January.
