Motorcyclists donate for the holidays

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Some South Florida motorcyclists rode out with a reason this holiday season.
About 40 motorcycle riders delivered Thanksgiving meals to military families Sunday for the American Legion Turkey Run.
Participants in the run hope to give back just a fraction of what they feel the soldiers really deserve.
"These are our heroes," said Turkey Run Coordinator, DeeDee Roache. "They know what they got into, and they were still willing to do it."
"Thanksgiving you have something to be thankful for," said Terry Hudak. "And we're thankful for the Army and our American veterans that keep us safe."
The run started in Cooper City and ended at the Williams United States Army Reserve Center in Northwest Miami-Dade.
The riders said they also plan to give back for Christmas, as well.
