MIAMI (WSVN) -- A mother is devastated after, days before Thanksgiving, thieves burglarized her South Florida home.

The apartment Schanttia Miller shares with her three young girls was ransacked and robbed Monday morning. "They came in, and they took the couch set, the dinning room and the little small table in the middle," said Miller.

The thieves took everything from food, clothes to her daughters toys. They left all the shelves from their bedroom empty. "They came in my room, they took my TV, my printer. They took all my clothes, all my shoes," said Miller.

"This is my kitchen, which half of the dishes and food is gone," said Miller. "They even took my Jesus picture that was up there hanging."

The young mother has not told her daughters what occurred, after the crooks came into the home through the girls' bedroom window. Miller does not want her daughters to live in fear after the robbery. "I got three girls. No boys, just three girls, and just us stay here," she said.

If you have any information on this home robbery, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
