KEY LARGO, Fa (WSVN) -- A baby manatee was rescued Tuesday in Key Largo and is now recovering.
Florida Wildlife officials pulled the calf to safety from a Key Largo canal.
Officials said the six-foot, 275-pound manatee was probably struck by a boat.
The manatee suffered a broken rib.
The little guy was named Pilgrim because of the Thanksgiving holiday. It is now at the Miami Seaquarium where it is expected to make a full recovery.
