Broward pet adoption hosts, 'Pick your own price'

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla (WSVN) -- For the first time ever, Broward County Animal Care will host an adoption special.

Anyone adopting can choose any price and choose any pet, from adult dogs and cats to kittens and puppies.

"It's a wonderful opportunity to help us out, as far as getting a pet a new home, and open your heart particularly this holiday season to a homeless dog or cat that really needs your heart and your home for the holidays," said Lisa Mendheim of Broward County Animal Adoption.

You can adopt a pet on Friday, Nov. 23 from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fort Lauderdale Adoption Center located at 1870 SW 39th St.
